She was awarded the Annual Breast Cancer Summit's “Lifetime Achievement Award” for her continued dedication to educating women in breast cancer prevention.

Tricia Morrin LloydDirector of Fundraising | Miss DC 1988
Tricia is a non-profit consultant for strategy and fundraising and has advised numerous organizations, including local, national, cultural, religious, and community oriented, on improving their institutional advancement programs. Tricia has been especially successful with finding creative ways to help small development budgets go far.
Favorite positions have been with the Pontifical North American College, America's seminary in Rome and the Pontifical Gregorian University, founded by St. Ignatius in 1551 and the oldest university in Rome. |
Since serving as Miss DC 1988, Tricia has stayed involved with the Miss DC Scholarship Organization as Local ED (1991 to 1997), President (2004 to 2013), Executive Director (2014-present) and backstage cleanup volunteer. She welcomes those who would like to join and support the mission of providing scholarships for the young women in DC!
Additionally, Tricia is a 20 year volunteer for St. Ann's Center for Children, Youth and Families, founded in 1863 in DC and also serves on their Development Committee. This graduate of The Catholic University of America with a B.A. in financial management, is a Dame of the Order of Malta and of the Constantinian Order of St. George and a John Carroll Society member.

Orlando Xavier Hixon graduated from Southern University, Baton Rouge, Louisiana with a BS in Computer Science in May 1991. He also received his Master of Public Administration, May 1999 and Master of Business Administration, December 2011 from the University of the District of Columbia, where he was a Washington Metropolitan Council of Government Fellow and two-year President of Graduate Student Government Association. of United Communities Against Poverty, Inc. as well as a mayoral appointee of the Metropolitan Washington Regional Planning Council, which is a federally mandated organization that serves low-income individuals with HIV/AIDS in Washington, D.C., Maryland, Virginia and West Virginia. Previously, Mr. Hixon worked for many years as an Adjunct Professor at the University of the District of Columbia and as Director of Community Planning and Research for the designated community action agency for the District of Columbia, United Planning Organization.
Outside of his professional life, Mr. Hixon volunteers with several area organizations that focus on youth-at-risk and ex-offenders. He is very active in his community and has received numerous awards for his community service involvement. Mr. Hixon is also a proud member of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc.

Lisa FerrisSecretary | Miss DC 2003
Lisa is a professional actor/singer and burgeoning producer. Before establishing full time residency in California, she traveled the country with various creative projects including three seasons at the Tony Award Winning Utah Shakespeare Festival, two seasons with California Music Theater’s Sacramento Music Circus, as well as several productions at the Nevada Conservatory Theatre. To date, Lisa is a three-time best actress nominee for her work as Carol Burnett in the award-winning short film Pipe Dream from Watermark Productions. The film has been screened at over 30 nationally and internationally recognized film festivals across the country and continues to garner recognition. |
A versatile performer, Lisa has been seen in everything from national commercials, to singing Christmas carols in "the happiest place on earth" as a Dickens Caroler of Disneyland. Having now transitioned behind the camera, Lisa continues to work on diverse projects ranging from HBO’s Westworld to Nickelodeon’s Ryan’s Mystery Playdate.
Lisa holds a Bachelor of Music in musical theatre from The Catholic University of America and a Master of Fine Arts in acting from The University of Nevada Las Vegas. In addition to her traditional academic career, over the course of several years of study and 1500 hours of teacher training, Lisa earned her credentials as certified yoga instructor. She continues to teach at YogaWorks in Los Angeles working with students to connect breath and body in order to realize their full potential.

Ashley Darby is known for being an outgoing, opinionated, outspoken woman on Bravo’s hit show The Real Housewives of Potomac. As Miss DC 2011, Ashley competed in Miss America 2012, receiving the first John Curran Journalism Award for her interview skills. Since that transformative year, Ashley has continued to pursue her passion for living life to the fullest. |
After her reign as Miss DC, she married her husband Michael, and the pair opened Oz - an Australian restaurant in Clarendon, VA. While being a young entrepreneur, Ashley maintained her commitment to community service by volunteering with organizations close to her heart like Dreams for Kids and Becky’s Fund. And in July 2019, Ashley and Michael welcomed their son, Dean Michael Darby, to the world.

Diane Dillon

Ms. Dillon is an avid campaigner, and has never once missed voting in an election. She has just finished her most recent campaign – Hogan For Governor - where she served as the campaign’s attorney in Montgomery County (MD) where she was responsible for ballot security and voter integrity as well as liaison to the County Board of Elections. Previously, Ms. Dillon served in the George W. Bush Administration as Liaison to the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC), where she served as Director of the Offices of Communications and Legislative Affairs as well as policy advisor to the Chairman of the EEOC. Before joining the White House, Ms. Dillon was in private industry and served as Director of State Government Affairs for the Pharmaceutical Research and Manufacturers Association (PhARMA) |
in Washington, D.C. Prior to joining PhARMA, Ms. Dillon was Assistant General Counsel to the Independent Insurance Agents and Brokers of America (IIABA, Inc.). Alden Kamikawa retired as the Executive Vice President of the Home Builders Institute (HBI), the Workforce Development Arm of the National Association of Home Builders (NAHB). NAHB is the Washington, DC‐based trade association representing more than 140,000 residential building industry members. HBI has trained more than 125,000 young men and women for careers in the building industry and has enhanced the level of professionalism of NAHB members through a wide variety of continuing education and |
certification programs. HBI is one of Washingtonian magazine’s “Great Places to Work.” HBI has been lauded for its mission, diversity and longevity of staff service. Prior to his employment with the Home Builders Institute, Mr. Kamikawa worked for the California State Department of Rehabilitation as a vocational rehabilitation counselor, assisting persons with physical and mental disabilities to obtain employment and live more independently through counseling, job training and other individualized services. He was also a Peace Corps volunteer in Colombia, South America, and promoting rural community development.
Mr. Kamikawa holds a B.A. in International Relations and an M.S. in Rehabilitation Counseling from San Francisco State University.

She is currently involved with the National Cherry Blossom Festival, the Cherry Blossom Princess Program, The Latino Student Fund, and she serves on the Board of Directors of Gala Theatre and Friends of the American University of Afghanistan. Teri currently resides in San Miguel de Allende and Dallas and visits Washington DC often due to her philanthropic work.
