The 2018 Miss District of Columbia Pageant will likely take place on Sunday, June 17, 2018. Please read the eligibility requirements carefully in order to ensure that you are eligible for this year’s competition. There is no entry fee to compete in the Miss DC Pageant. The winner and runners-up will receive academic scholarships. Miss DC 2018 will represent the District of Columbia in the 2019 Miss America Pageant (held in September 2018) and will serve the Washington, D.C. community throughout the year, as a goodwill ambassador and promoter of various civic and philanthropic efforts.

If you are interested in competing in the Miss District of Columbia pageant, please fill out the Prospective Contestant Information Form by clicking the link under the "Become a Contestant" menu tab. You will be provided updates and further information about becoming a contestant.
There will be an information session for all prospective contestants on Saturday, November 4, 2017, from 2:00-4:00 p.m. and the location is to be determined. To reserve a spot, please RSVP in advance firstname.lastname@example.org. You may also email with any questions you may have. NOTE: While the info session is not mandatory in order to attend the Preliminary Workshop, attendance is STRONGLY encouraged, even if you have competed at Miss DC before. Attendance does not obligate one to attend the Preliminary Workshop or compete. Please come out and learn about the process for competing for Miss DC 2018!
The Miss District of Columbia Organization conducts 90-second workshops in talent performances and four-minute interviews to offer feedback to prospective contestants. Only those who successfully complete the workshop will be permitted to compete in the pageant. The Preliminary Workshop will take place on Sunday, January 27, 2017 from 10:00 am - 5:00 pm at a location that is to be determined.
Those young women who attend the Preliminary Workshop for this year’s pageant must complete the 2018 Preliminary Fact Sheet. These completed fact sheets must be e-mailed to email@example.com no later than January 17, 2018 in order to be accepted for the workshop. In addition, all young women who attend the workshop MUST bring the completed 2018 Eligibility Checklist with them to the workshop. Note: Besides the form itself, contestants must bring COPIES of all required documents that prove eligibility. We will not be able to make copies that day and we must have copies that we can keep and review.
